Understanding the impact of abuse and neglect on the developing child is an important key to parenting children and youth.  The Neurosequential Model in Caregiving provides various levels of exposure to key concepts such as attachment, 'state-dependent' functioning, 'dosing & spacing' and the power of relational regulation.  Using real-life problem solving with foster and adoptive families, this practical approach has been successful in helping caregivers better understand trauma, and their children.
